Book Cover Design
The Devil Wears Prada
This was an academic project to design a cover for the book “The devil wears Prada” by Lauren Weisberger. In my design explorations, the individualistic image of a woman along with design elements symbolizing fashion tells the story of a glamorous fashion world of New York. I used clean layout, red/white/black color scheme with prominent typography to create designs that stand out.

Gill Sans Typography
An academic project for exploring a Typeface and using it to create a book cover. I chose ‘Gill Sans” by Eric Gill. It is a sans serif typeface with geometric touches in its structures. The geometric design concepts came out from the typeface character. The complementary color scheme is being implemented. There are different versions of color schemes below.

The Great Gatsby
The project was to design a book cover. I was fascinated with F. Scott Fitzgerald’s book “The Great Gatsby”. So I decided to make a book cover for it. The imaginative woman figure illustration is the Gatsby’s beloved. I chose the warm color scheme that I understand is the emotional color and it is associated with feelings. Through Red color, I am showing the deep, intense and passionate feeling of The Great Gatsby for her beloved. Classic Retro typeface “ Reisling” was chosen. The whole book cover is vector art created in illustrator.
